As Consolidation Manager, you are the architect of group-wide financial consolidation and reporting at TVH. You own the end-to-end consolidation process and ensure compliance with IFRS. Beyond technical excellence, you are expected to build organizational capability, foster team motivation, and drive continuous improvement. You play a key leadership role in embedding consistency, accuracy, and agility into our global reporting framework.
Key Responsibilities
- Consolidation & Reporting (Accountability & Technical Mastery)
- Own and lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual group consolidation process for 80+ legal entities under IFRS and BE GAAP.
- Deliver timely, accurate consolidated financial statements and internal reports to senior leadership, shareholders, and governance bodies.
- Lead the preparation of annual IFRS disclosures and footnotes, ensuring clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Coordinate the external audit of consolidated accounts, acting as the single point of contact for auditors.
- Process, System & Organizational Ownership
- Serve as functional and operational owner of the consolidation system (currently Prophix; future Oracle FCCS).
- Maintain and enhance system structures (metadata, hierarchies, rules), ensuring adaptability to changing business needs.
- Lead improvement projects to streamline closing cycles, automate reporting, and strengthen financial controls.
- Oversee intercompany eliminations, financial integrity checks, and process documentation.
- Compliance, Expertise & Advisory
- Ensure full compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies across all entities.
- Provide expert guidance on complex consolidation matters (e.g., acquisitions,restructurings, foreign currency translation).
- Partner with FP&A, Tax, and Finance to align financial results with group-wide strategic initiatives.
- Organizational Capability & Project Leadership
- Play a key role in strategic finance projects including Oracle ERP rollout, FCCS deployment, and future reporting initiatives.
- Develop robust governance around consolidation practices, including closing calendars, validation steps, and stakeholder alignment.
- Define and enforce clear RACI ownership across global and local finance teams regarding consolidation responsibilities.
- People Management & Motivation
- Coach, mentor, and develop the Consolidation & Reporting Analyst to grow into a high-performing and independent team member.
- Create a motivational team environment focused on accountability, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement.
- Foster a collaborative mindset across regional and local finance functions, encouraging ownership, reliability, and quality in data submissions.
- Act as a culture carrier of finance excellence, reinforcing transparency, integrity, and performance orientation.
Your Profile
- Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or equivalent by experience
- 5+ years of experience in consolidation, financial reporting, or audit within an international context.
- Deep understanding of IFRS and experience producing consolidated financials in complex environments.
- Hands-on experience with consolidation software (Prophix, Oracle FCCS, Sigma Conso, etc.)
- Advanced Excel and data analytics skills.
