Job Summary

The Finance of the Future team works on finance projects, especially in controlling and modern tools supporting Enterprise Performance Management. We help clients plan, budget, forecast, monitor, report, and consolidate financial results. This role involves participating in transformation projects for management processes and FP&A for major Polish and foreign companies, working globally within the PwC network. You will understand the role of a business partner and how to build a resilient finance function by combining financial and operational data with analysis.

Must Have

  • Implement consulting and implementation projects for finance and controlling function transformation.
  • Provide operational support for management reporting, planning, forecasting, and financial analysis processes.
  • Analyze and model data using modern tools.
  • Prepare presentations of work results.
  • Collaborate with project teams and client management.
  • Actively participate in business meetings and company projects.
  • Support Manager in preparing offers and team management.
  • At least 5 years of experience in management accounting, controlling, or FP&A.
  • Higher economic education (economics, management, finance, controlling preferred).
  • Knowledge of cost analysis methods and optimization identification.
  • Fluent in English and Polish.
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel (Power Query) and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent analytical skills and comfort with numbers.

Good to Have

  • Experience in complex project management, including ERP/EPM and Business Intelligence system implementation.
  • CIMA/ACCA certificates.
  • VBA knowledge.

The Finance of the Future team deals with projects in the area of finance, especially controlling and modern tools supporting Enterprise Performance Management. We help our Clients plan, budget, forecast, as well as continuously monitor, report, and consolidate financial results.

Working with us, you will have the opportunity to participate in transformation projects for management processes and FP&A (Financial Planning & Analysis) for the largest Polish and foreign enterprises. We carry out our projects both in Poland and in other CEE countries, cooperating globally within the PwC network. Working in our team, you will understand what the role of a business partner means and how, by combining financial and operational data with analyses, to build a finance function resilient to disruptions and changes.

We are looking for:

Consultant / Senior Consultant

Your future role:

  • implementation of consulting and implementation projects concerning the comprehensive transformation of finance and controlling functions from the perspective of processes and data, technology, and the client team's competencies and organizational structure,
  • operational support for management reporting, planning and forecasting, and financial analysis processes for our clients towards their standardization, automation, and efficiency improvement,
  • analysis and multidimensional data modeling using modern tools,
  • preparation of work results presentations within the entrusted scope,
  • contact and ongoing cooperation with the project team and client management,
  • active participation in business meetings and company projects,
  • support the Manager in preparing offers, managing the project team, organizing own work and younger team members' work.

Apply if you:

  • want to develop in the field of financial model building, financial analysis, reporting, and budgeting using modern EPM and Business Intelligence systems,
  • have at least 5 years of experience in management accounting, controlling, or implementing processes within the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function,
  • can boast of a higher economic education (preferred fields: economics, management, finance, controlling),
  • know and can apply cost analysis methods and identify areas for their optimization,
  • have practical experience in processes related to financial liquidity management and working capital optimization,
  • strive to understand the business model, and look at reports not only technically but also substantively - e.g., trying to determine the causes of deviations and their impact on the business,
  • can cooperate and have the ability to build relationships with business leaders at various organizational levels,
  • are strongly focused on continuous development (training, self-study, using new knowledge in practice, actively seeking solutions),
  • are fluent in English and Polish,
  • have excellent knowledge of the Ms Office suite, especially Excel including Power Query and Power Point,
  • have excellent analytical skills and ease of working with numbers.
