The Video Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for producing high-quality, visually appealing video content for various social media channels. The main focus of the role will be shooting mobile content for Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok and editing content for those channels. The candidate should be highly creative, detail-oriented, and have a passion for storytelling through video content.
Technical & Product
- Excellent proficiency in using mobile devices, cameras, gimbals and shooting high-quality content on them, with the ability to use various video editing software to create engaging and visually appealing videos.
- Familiarity with social media platforms and their latest trends, features, and algorithms to create content that is optimized for each platform.
- Knowledge of lighting, sound, and camera techniques to create high-quality videos.
- Ability to work with a team of social media managers and content creators to understand their vision and execute it through creative and interactive videos.
- Knowledge of different video formats, aspect ratios, and resolutions to ensure that the videos are optimized for different social media platforms.
Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency
- Ability to work within tight deadlines and to manage time efficiently to deliver high-quality videos on time.
- Understanding of the business objectives of the client and the ability to create videos that align with those objectives.
- Ability to communicate effectively with the client, social media managers, and content creators to ensure that the videos meet the client's expectations.
- Knowledge of budget management to ensure that the videos are created within the allocated budget.
- Ability to collaborate with the team to streamline the production process and create videos efficiently without compromising on quality.

- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Film, Video Production, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in creating videos for social media platforms, with a focus on mobile-first content creation.
- Proficiency in using video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar.
- A portfolio of previous video work showcasing creative and interactive social media content
