Job Description

For our Traffic department, we are looking for an Administrator Outbound EU Shipments. You are organizationally and administratively responsible for deliveries within the European Union. Your role involves order follow-up and consolidation, sending shipments to depots, ensuring optimal customer service by following up on errors, and administratively correct delivery of orders within the EU by preparing and collecting necessary documents. You also act as a point of contact and report system/procedure improvements.
Must Have:
  • Organizational and administrative responsibility for EU deliveries.
  • Order follow-up and consolidation across warehouses.
  • Sending shipments to selected house carriers' depots.
  • Ensuring optimal customer service by following up on outgoing shipment errors.
  • Administratively correct delivery of EU orders with proper documentation.
  • Acting as a point of contact for TVH departments and transporters.
  • Reporting system and procedure improvements.
  • Higher secondary education diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Strong affinity with logistics.
  • Basic knowledge of transport and interpreting transport documents.
  • Good written and spoken Dutch, French, and English.
  • Flexible with working hours (late shift every four weeks).
  • Professional and adaptable communication skills.
  • Administratively accurate work.
  • Thorough knowledge of Windows Office.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and be solution-oriented.
  • Eager to learn and motivated.
  • Ability to handle pressure and stress.

Your role and responsibilities

  • Order follow-up and consolidation within the various warehouses, so that goods arrive at the correct shipping location.
  • Sending shipments to the depot of the house carriers selected by TVH.
  • You guarantee optimal customer service by properly following up on errors in outgoing shipments.
  • You ensure that orders within the EU are administratively correctly delivered to the customer/supplier, through good preparation, organization, and collection of the necessary documents.
  • Acting as a point of contact for various departments within TVH and the various transporters.
  • Noticing possible system and procedure improvements and reporting them to the team leader.

Your profile

  • You have a higher secondary education diploma or equivalent through experience.
  • You have a strong affinity with logistics.
  • You have basic knowledge of transport and can correctly interpret transport documents.
  • You have good written and spoken knowledge of Dutch, French, and English.
  • You are flexible with working hours (late shift every four weeks, with some flexibility).
  • You can communicate professionally with various contacts and adapt your communication style to the situation (drivers, transport companies, colleagues, managers, etc.).
  • You deliver administratively accurate work.
  • You have thorough knowledge of Windows Office.
  • You can work independently, take initiative, and work in a solution-oriented manner.
  • You are eager to learn and motivated.
  • You can handle pressure and stress situations.
