Snail Games is seeking an ambitious Staff Accountant to join its finance department. This hybrid role, based in the greater Los Angeles/Southern California region, involves managing daily accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial records, and providing essential support for business decisions. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in accounting principles, meticulous, and inquisitive, contributing significantly to the team's success and growing professionally within the company.
Must Have
- Post and process journal entries
- Update accounts receivable and issue invoices
- Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations
- Process balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements
- Review expenses and payroll records
- Update financial data in databases
- Prepare and submit weekly/monthly reports
- Communicate and enforce purchasing policies and payment requisition procedures
- Assist senior accountants in monthly/yearly closings
- Carry out projects and assignments independently with minimal oversight
- BS/BA in Accounting or Finance
- 3 years professional full-time experience in Accounting
- Strong understanding of Accounting principles and practices
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and NetSuite

- Fluent in Chinese and English (written and verbal)
