Job Summary

The Customer Success Manager (CSM) at Syngenta Crop Protection will drive sales growth by differentiating Syngenta's digital and sustainability offerings in the agricultural sector. This role involves acting as a bridge between customers and the company, utilizing AgTech tools like Cropwise and Interrascan to identify opportunities and co-create tailored Crop Solutions. The CSM will be a Subject Matter Expert, coordinating tool development, gathering customer feedback, and collaborating with regional teams on strategic projects to enhance technology adoption and sustainable practices, ultimately improving farmers' success.

Must Have

  • Contribute to sales growth by differentiating Syngenta’s offer through digital tools and/or sustainability opportunities.
  • Coordinate the tool development plan at CU level, acting as the local expert and SME for the region.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and communicating effectively with the Ag Solutions and Cropwise teams.
  • Work closely with other CSMs to capture opportunities and maximize the use of Ag Solutions and improvements.
  • Collaborate in the co-creation of Crop Solutions, offering guidance on adoption and differentiation via sustainability.
  • 4+ years of experience in the agricultural sector with agronomic knowledge of key crops.
  • Digital proficiency, comfortable with agile/sprint methodologies and aware of AgTech trends.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, Syngenta commercial policies, and ability to work toward financial targets.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with experience using CRM tools and delivering tailored service.
  • Strong skills in collaboration, networking, forward thinking, adaptability, continuous learning, curiosity, and openness to AI integration.

  • Experience with Syngenta products, systems, or methodologies.
  • Background in agriculture digitalization, precision agriculture, or AgTech platforms.
  • Experience presenting at industry events or technical forums.

To support this mission, We are seeking a Customer Solutions Manager (CSM) to join our Agricultural Solutions team.

This role is the bridge between customers and Syngenta, enabling differentiated sales and driving the development of our digital and sustainability offerings.

Using tools such as Cropwise, Interrascan, and other AgTech innovations, you will bring customer insights to life, identify opportunities in your area, and help co-create Crop Solutions tailored to local needs. You will play a key role in technology adoption, offer development, and act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for your Commercial Unit while collaborating with the regional team on strategic projects.

Accountabilities:

  • Contribute to sales growth by differentiating Syngenta’s offer through digital tools and/or sustainability opportunities.
  • Coordinate the tool development plan at CU level, acting as the local expert and SME for the region.
  • Represent the voice of the customer by gathering feedback and communicating effectively with the Ag Solutions and Cropwise teams.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Around 4+ years of experience in the agricultural sector, with agronomic knowledge of key crops in the area (e.g., tomato, grapes), CP/BIO modes of action, crop profitability drivers, and familiarity with machinery and emerging AgTech solutions.
  • Digital proficiency, either as a digital native or with practical AgTech experience; comfortable with agile/sprint methodologies and aware of local/global AgTech trends. Knowledge of UX/UI success factors is a plus.
  • Understanding of market dynamics, customer segmentation, Syngenta commercial policies, and ability to work toward defined financial targets and KPIs.
  • Customer-focused mindset, with experience using CRM tools, delivering tailored service, and adapting presentations/messages for diverse audiences — from growers to technical forums.
  • Strong skills in collaboration, networking, forward thinking, adaptability, continuous learning, curiosity, and openness to AI integration to keep Syngenta at the forefront of technology.
