Cybersecurity Intern - Offensive and Defensive Security (M/F)

Valeo is seeking a motivated and rigorous Cybersecurity Intern for a 6-month internship in automotive cybersecurity. The intern will participate in penetration testing, cybersecurity incident management, and security assessments on connected vehicle platforms, including embedded systems, electronic control units (ECUs), and cloud components. This role is within the Valeo Brain Division at the Valeo Mobility Tech Center in Créteil, focusing on advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and connectivity solutions.

Must Have

• Participate in penetration tests on automotive systems and connected vehicle environments
• Contribute to the detection, analysis, and response to cybersecurity incidents
• Participate in the development of cybersecurity tools and procedures, vulnerability assessment, and risk analysis
• Contribute to the development and updating of testing methodologies and associated technical documentation
• Collaborate with technical and business teams for the processing and follow-up of identified vulnerabilities
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux environments, networks, and cybersecurity principles
• Analytical mind, rigor, and strong interest in automotive and cybersecurity

• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS)

We are looking for a motivated and rigorous intern (6-month internship) in offensive security to join our automotive cybersecurity team. The intern will participate in penetration testing activities, cybersecurity incident management, and security assessments conducted on connected vehicle platforms, including embedded systems, electronic control units (ECU), and cloud components.

Your missions:

About you:

• Student in engineering, computer science, cybersecurity, electronics or equivalent discipline
• Fundamental knowledge of Linux environments, networks, and cybersecurity principles
• Familiarity with automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, UDS) appreciated
• Analytical mind, rigor, and strong interest in automotive and cybersecurity
