Job Summary
Ruby Seven Studios is seeking a data-driven Data Analyst with AI exposure to join their analytics team. The role involves analyzing player behavior, optimizing game performance, and leveraging AI-powered insights to enhance player engagement and revenue. The analyst will work closely with Product, Game Design, UA, LiveOps, and Monetization teams, focusing on player and game insights, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration.
Must Have
- Analyze in-game player behavior, progression, economy, funnels, and retention patterns.
- Support live-ops decisions with insights on events, offers, and content performance.
- Identify trends, churn indicators, bottlenecks, and player segmentation opportunities.
- Leverage AI tools to accelerate data exploration, reporting, and insights.
- Build and maintain dashboards for KPIs like DAU/MAU, retention, ARPDAU, conversion metrics, UA performance.
- Create automated pipelines for reports using SQL, Python, or BI tools.
- Partner with Game Designers, PMs, and other teams to evaluate new features, A/B tests, and player journeys.
- Present insights in a clear, visual, and narrative-driven manner.
- 1-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in gaming, mobile apps, or digital products.
- Strong SQL skills for querying large event-level datasets.
- Experience with Python/R for analysis, EDA, or model support.
- Understanding of gaming KPIs: retention, funnels, economy, monetization metrics, churn, LTV, ARPU/ARPDAU.
- Exposure to AI workflows or model lifecycle.
- Hands-on experience with open-source BI tools.
- Strong storytelling and communication skills.
Job Description

You will work closely with Product, Game Design, UA, LiveOps, and Monetization teams to analyze player behavior, optimize game performance, and support AI-powered insights that enhance player engagement and revenue.
Key Responsibilities:
- Player & Game Insights
1. Analyze in-game player behavior, progression, economy, funnels, and retention patterns.
2. Support live-ops decisions with insights on events, offers, and content performance.
3. Identify trends, churn indicators, bottlenecks, and player segmentation opportunities.
4. Leverage AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, analytics copilots, automated ETL assistants) to accelerate data exploration, reporting, and insights.
- Reporting & Dashboards
1. Build and maintain dashboards for KPIs like DAU/MAU, retention, ARPDAU, conversion metrics, UA performance, etc., as and when required.
2. Create automated pipelines for reports using SQL, Python, or BI tools.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
1. Partner with Game Designers, PMs, and other teams as required, to evaluate new features, A/B tests, and player journeys.
2. Present insights in a clear, visual, and narrative-driven manner to help teams make data-backed decisions.
Required Qualifications:
- 1–4 years of experience as a Data Analyst, preferably in gaming, mobile apps, or digital products.
- Strong SQL skills for querying large event-level datasets.
- Experience with Python/R for analysis, EDA, or model support.
- Understanding of gaming KPIs: retention, funnels, economy, monetization metrics, churn, LTV, ARPU/ARPDAU.
- Exposure to AI workflows or model lifecycle (usage and understanding of prominent tools).
- Hands-on experience with open-source BI tools
- Strong storytelling and communication skills for sharing data insights with non-technical teams.
