Job Summary
We are looking for a Data Engineer to join our team and contribute to building and maintaining applications that power the Dun & Bradstreet Contact Pipeline. This role involves working closely with senior data engineers to optimize data ingestion processes, analyze performance bottlenecks, and implement improvements. You will also create metrics to monitor application performance and throughput, ensuring continuous enhancement.
Must Have
- Develop and maintain applications using Python.
- Take ownership of existing applications for further development and improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure business continuity.
- Analyze codebases to identify and resolve performance issues.
- Perform data analysis to detect bugs and optimize processes.
- Participate in code reviews and testing of team members’ contributions.
- Work within agile teams, applying lean principles and SCRUM methodology.
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field).
- 3–6 years of overall experience in software development and data analysis.
- Hands-on experience in Python for application development.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for data analysis and query generation.
- Ability to work independently and deliver critical projects on time.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work closely with others in a team environment.
Good to Have
- Experience with hosted environments and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or similar (preferred).
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field).
