Job Description
Saama Technologies is seeking a talented Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval solutions within the Snowflake platform. The role involves designing and optimizing ETL pipelines using SQL and technologies like Apache Airflow, Nifi, or Talend, implementing data models in Snowflake, ensuring data quality, and monitoring performance. The candidate will work in an Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients.
Good To Have:
- Familiarity with cloud-based platforms, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and associated data integration and migration technologies such as AWS Glue or Azure Data Factory.
- Exposure to Insurance domain.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash.
Must Have:
- Design and develop ETL pipelines using SQL and other technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi, or Talend.
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data transformation and loading into Snowflake.
- Design and implement data models in Snowflake, including schema design and optimization.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
- Monitor and troubleshoot ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse performance.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, and data modeling.
- Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform and related tools.
- Experience with data integration patterns such as CDC, ELT, or ETL.
- BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / IT.

About the Role
We are looking for a talented Snowflake Developer to design, develop, and maintain efficient data storage and retrieval solutions within the Snowflake platform. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of data warehousing concepts, strong SQL skills, and experience in implementing. Snowflake best practices. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design data models, and optimize performance for our data-driven applications and deal with the client. Should have worked in Agile way of executing the project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing ETL pipelines using SQL and other technologies such as Apache Airflow, Apache Nifi, or Talend.
- Writing and optimizing complex SQL queries for data transformation and loading into Snowflake.
- Designing and implementing data models in Snowflake, including schema design and optimization.
- Ensuring data quality, integrity, and consistency by implementing data validation and cleansing procedures.
- Monitoring and troubleshooting ETL pipelines and Snowflake data warehouse performance using Snowflake tools and other monitoring tools.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of SQL, ETL, and data modeling. Experience with Snowflake data warehousing platform and related tools.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or Bash is desirable. Experience with data integration patterns such as CDC, ELT or ETL. Good problem-solving skills and ability to work in a team environment
- BE/B. Tech in Computer Science / IT
