Autodesk is seeking a DevOps Developer for the Autodesk Platform Services Data Models Team. This role involves developing and maintaining high-value, exabyte-scale cloud data platform components for desktop, mobile, and web products. The developer will contribute to software design, architecture, and continuous improvement in a lean/Agile environment, working with product managers and architects to deliver incremental product enhancements. The position is hybrid, based in Montreal or Toronto, Canada, and focuses on creating reliable, secure, and performant services using cloud technology.

Must Have

  • Graduate or Postgraduate in Computer Science Engineering or related technical fields
  • 1+ years of experience in DevOps
  • AWS production experience in cloud-based Infrastructure
  • Understanding & curiosity of DevOps and site reliability engineering best practices, architectures, and methods
  • Customer-facing and service-oriented person
  • Strong understanding of Cloud Networking concepts
  • Experience with Kubernetes/ECS environments
  • Experience with configuration management tools and cloud automation (TerraForm, Ansible)
  • Experience defining and building CI/CD processes and working with common CI/CD tools (Jenkins/Spinnaker, etc.)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, along with the ability to work independently
  • Experience using Docker to build containerized applications
  • Experience with networking and security concepts
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes, tools, and Agile methodologies

Good to Have

  • Strong programming skills preferable in Java
  • Experience with overseeing and logging tools (New Relic, Splunk)
  • API development experience (REST, GraphQL, gRPC)

Autodesk is looking for a DevOps Developer to join the Autodesk Platform Services Data Models Team. The team delivers high-value, exabyte-scale and cloud data platform components powering desktop, mobile, and web products. This enables our product teams to build cohesive in-product data experiences, our partners to integrate and expand our data, and our end-users to work with their data across all Autodesk products.

You will report to the Software Development Manager - DevOps based in Canada, and the role is hybrid based in Montreal or Toronto. Responsibilities

  • Involved in all aspects of software development, working to create and maintain the most reliable, secure, performant, and high-throughput service for our customers by applying cloud technology
  • Partner with product managers, product owners, software architects, and other development teams to iteratively turn high-level requirements into product enhancements that are delivered to customers incrementally
  • Contribute to software design and architecture by using cloud design patterns and injecting your cloud expertise into the entire development lifecycle
  • Contribute to improvements in processes and deliverables that increase the effectiveness of the team in responding to customers and needs
  • Document and present your ideas and solutions thoroughly

Minimum Qualifications
