DevOps Engineer

We are Edgemony, a company specialized in headhunting in the Tech, AI, and Digital Product Management sectors.

For an innovative client operating in the field of advanced robotics and AI, we are looking for a DevOps Engineer to join the only Italian company involved in humanoid robotics.

Role Information

You will be a key figure in the design, implementation, and management of their cloud infrastructure and deployment pipelines, ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of their robotics platform. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with the software development and robotics teams.

Main Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable and secure infrastructures, both cloud and on-premises, using the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) approach.
• Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines for automated software deployment.
• Manage containerized applications and orchestration systems to ensure efficiency and high availability.
• Administer and secure our database systems (both NoSQL and relational).
• Create automation scripts to improve operational efficiency and system reliability.
• Define and manage comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Collaborate with development teams to optimize performance and resolve any issues.

Requirements

• You have at least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, SRE, or in a similar role, with a focus on cloud-native architectures and automation.
• You have experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Terraform (IaC).
• You are curious, pragmatic, and enthusiastic about working on something tangible like a robot.
• You have a good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.

Nice to Have

• Practical experience with GCP services.
• Creation and management of Helm charts.
• Practical experience with GitHub Actions (CI/CD).
• Experience with Bash, Python, or Go (plus).
• Experience managing MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases.
