Job Description
Rackner is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency, Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program. The role requires 3+ years of DevOps/DevSecOps experience within the DoD, with a cybersecurity focus, including CI/CD pipeline development, application integration, and cybersecurity automation. A deep understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF, and cATO processes is essential, along with experience deploying secure software in Azure and AWS Government Clouds. The ideal candidate should possess strong knowledge of modern DevSecOps security tools and familiarity with zero trust architectures and cyber threat intelligence integration.
Must have:
- 3+ years DevOps/DevSecOps experience within DoD
- Experience with CI/CD pipeline development
- Knowledge of DoD cybersecurity requirements
- Experience deploying secure software in Azure and AWS

About this role:
- Rackner is seeking a Senior DevSecOps Engineer to support the Missile Defense Agency, Ground-Based Midcourse Defense (GMD) Weapon System (GWS) program.
We are looking for experience with:
- 3+ years; DevOps/DevSecOps experience within the DoD, with a cybersecurity focus.
- CI/CD pipeline development, application integration, and cybersecurity automation.
- Deep understanding of DoD cybersecurity requirements, RMF, and cATO processes.
- Deploying secure software in Azure and AWS Government Clouds.
- Strong knowledge of modern DevSecOps security tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, Aqua Security, Sysdig, Twistlock).
- Familiarity with zero trust architectures (ZTA) and cyber threat intelligence (CTI) integration in DevSecOps environments.
