Job Summary

The Digital Campaign Manager at Pedestrian Group, reporting to the Director of Operations & Technology, is responsible for the end-to-end execution and optimization of direct and programmatic campaigns. This role involves supporting sales with forecasting, creative trafficking, reporting, and troubleshooting ad delivery issues. The manager will also collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to drive innovation and revenue growth, while overseeing training and process improvements for ad operational efficiency.

Must Have

  • Execute and optimize direct and programmatic campaigns.
  • Support sales with forecasting, setup, creative trafficking, and reporting.
  • Provide pre-sale support with product recommendations and strategic insights.
  • Monitor and manage non-guarantee programmatic campaigns.
  • Act as primary escalation point for complex ad delivery issues.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors for innovation.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the commercial team.
  • Maintain and improve internal/external process documentation.
  • Prior experience in digital advertising operations or campaign management.
  • Strong understanding of direct sales and programmatic advertising.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot ad delivery issues.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description

Reporting to the Director of Operations & Technology (DOT), the Campaign Manager ensures seamless execution and optimisation of direct and programmatic campaigns. This role supports sales and other departments with forecasting, delivering, inventory management, troubleshooting, and performance analysis while collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to drive innovation and revenue growth. Additionally, they oversee training, documentation, and process improvements to enhance ad operational efficiency.

Day to day you will:

  • Support the Direct sales team with forecasting, setup, creative trafficking, reporting, and campaign optimisation.
  • Provide essential pre-sale support, including product recommendations and strategic insights for programmatic and direct deals.
  • Monitor and manage non-guarantee programmatic campaigns, offering analysis to sales for performance and revenue optimisation.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for troubleshooting complex ad delivery issues across all platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with internal teams and external vendors to drive product innovation and revenue strategies.
  • Conduct regular training sessions for the commercial team to enhance product knowledge and operational best practices.
  • Assist in maintaining and improving internal/external process documentation and platform management.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • Prior experience in digital advertising operations, ideally in a senior campaign management or trafficking role.
  • A strong, comprehensive understanding of both direct sales and programmatic advertising channels.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot complex ad delivery issues and provide timely solutions.
  • Exceptional collaboration and communication skills for liaising with sales, technical teams, and external stakeholders.
  • The ability to conduct effective training sessions and clearly document operational processes.
  • Experience with providing strategic pre-sale support, including forecasting and product recommendations.
  • A proactive approach to exploring new ad formats and assisting in their integration to increase revenue.
