We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual for a leadership role in our Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team. The Director of Corporate FP&A will oversee long-term financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. This role will work closely with finance and business leaders across the company to provide critical financial analysis, drive process improvements, and support investor relations and public company readiness.
Responsibilities:
- Lead corporate financial planning, including long-term projections, budgeting cycles, and rolling forecasts aligned with strategic company goals.
- Build, enhance, and manage reporting templates for senior management, the board of directors, and investors, ensuring transparent and actionable financial insights.
- Establish structured business reporting cadences, such as executive summaries, monthly budget reviews, and quarterly forecasting updates.
- Oversee and enhance financial models and data analytics to support decision-making, ensuring accuracy in topline forecasts and cost structures.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across finance, accounting, and other business teams to track actual performance against budgets, highlighting areas of risk and opportunity.
- Prepare financial presentations and reports for senior management, board members, investors, and external stakeholders.
- Optimize financial processes, reporting controls, and policy frameworks for improved data consolidation, integrity, and accuracy.
- Support investor relations and public company readiness through the development of narratives on company performance and managing stakeholder expectations.
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 12-15+ years of progressive experience in Corporate FP&A or similar roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity.
- Deep expertise in SaaS business models, subscription-based revenue forecasting, and financial planning methodologies.
- A strong understanding of corporate finance, financial controls, and investor reporting best practices.
- Experience with financial systems like Hyperion, Netsuite, Tableau, SFDC. Familiarity with implementing or upgrading FP&A tools is a plus.
- Proven team leadership and talent development skills.
