We are looking for a Director Performance (m/f/d) at our Munich or Berlin location, on an 18-month fixed-term contract, to support our Intelligence team in an EMEA role.

Requirements
Your Responsibilities
- Lead, foster, and develop a team of Paid Media Specialists and Social Media Managers – with clear goals, individual coaching, and a focus on personal growth.
- Develop and implement data-driven Paid Media strategies across platforms such as Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, and programmatic networks – aligned with brand and e-commerce goals.
- Manage the planning, execution, and optimization of digital advertising campaigns – including budget allocation, performance tracking, and creative messaging.
- Work closely with the Creative, Marketing, E-commerce, and Analytics teams to develop impactful ad assets, synchronize messaging, and support the customer journey from awareness to purchase.
- Monitor and analyze campaign results using analytics tools, derive insights, improve KPIs such as CTR, ROAS, and Conversion Rates, and present clear reports to stakeholders.
- Observe digital and e-commerce trends, new advertising platforms, and best practices to identify innovative optimization potentials.
- Ensure that all Paid Media activities support the overarching marketing strategy and measurably contribute to customer acquisition and revenue growth.
Your Profile
- Completed degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communication, or a comparable field.
- At least 7 years of experience in Paid Media, Digital Marketing, or Social Media, including proven leadership experience.
- Deep understanding of Paid Social and Digital Media platforms (Meta Ads, Google Ads, TikTok, Pinterest) as well as common analytics and management tools.
- Proven success in developing and implementing Paid campaigns for e-commerce or retail brands.
- Strong analytical skills, project management competence, and a data-driven approach.
- Strong communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
- Experience working with international teams and markets within the EMEA region is an advantage.
- Profound understanding of e-commerce KPIs, Customer Journeys, Attribution Models, and digital Sales Funnels.
- Experience with Audience Targeting, Remarketing, Conversion Tracking / Pixel Implementation, and Multi-Channel Attribution.
- Entrepreneurial thinking, innovation, and a sense for economic contexts.
