A DC Manager serves as an energetic, intelligent, and passionate leader, responsible for managing a team of associates at the central DC. This role ensures continuous improvement in quality, productivity, cost, and service KPIs. The position combines operational and project management, focusing on meeting logistics objectives, mobilizing resources, and leading staff development. The DC Manager champions the “Zero Harm” safety culture, drives continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma, and coordinates with 3PL partners on WMS issues. They also manage expense budgets and resolve service issues, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Significant experience in high-volume distribution, fulfilment, or manufacturing, including proven success leading multi-level teams.
  • Demonstrated track record of improving safety, quality, service, and cost metrics.
  • Working knowledge of 3PL-operated WMS platforms, inventory control, freight processes, and basic financial controls.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-driven decision-making tools.
Good to have:
  • Experience in consumer electronics or technology supply chains.
  • Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification (e.g., Green/Black Belt, PMP).
  • Prior cost-center or P&L oversight.

DC Manager

Role Summary

DC Manager serves as an energetic, intelligent, and passionate leader of people, responsible for managing a team of associates and will be onsite at our central DC. This role ensures that quality, productivity, cost, and service KPIs are continuously improved. The position combines operational and project management responsibilities, focusing on meeting logistics objectives, mobilizing resources, and leading the development of staff. The DC Manager plays a key role in improving adherence to standard operating policies and procedures, supporting strategic business initiatives on a daily basis, and maintaining a strong understanding of logistics organizational objectives. Regular interaction with other managers across the organization is required, as well as the selection, development, and evaluation of subordinate employees’ performance, fostering a high-performing and engaged team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct, coach, and develop a diverse workforce; oversee staffing, onboarding, goal setting, performance feedback, and career growth
  • Translate supply-chain strategy into executable shift/department plans; consistently achieve service-level agreements and operational KPIs
  • Champion the “Zero Harm” safety culture; ensure compliance through audits, training, and incident management
  • Drive continuous improvement using Lean and Six Sigma to optimize space, labour, and material-handling equipment
  • Oversee inbound, outbound, returns, and value-add operations; validate data integrity in SAP, the 3PL-managed WMS, and related systems
  • Coordinate with the 3PL partner on WMS issues, functional requirements, and system performance; escalate defects or improvement requests
  • Manage expense budgets and lead cost-reduction initiatives, partner with Finance on variance analyses and reporting
  • Serve as escalation point for service issues; collaborate with Transportation, Customer Support, Sales, and Global Planning to resolve exceptions
  • Foster an inclusive culture that advances Sustainable Impact commitments
  • Author, update, and enforce SOPs and work instructions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Operations Management, or equivalent practical experience
  • Significant experience in high-volume distribution, fulfilment, or manufacturing, including proven success leading multi-level teams
  • Demonstrated track record of improving safety, quality, service, and cost metrics
  • Working knowledge of 3PL-operated WMS platforms, inventory control, freight processes, and basic financial controls
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills; able to engage a multicultural workforce
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and data-driven decision-making tools

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in consumer electronics or technology supply chains
  • Lean Six Sigma or Project Management certification (e.g., Green/Black Belt, PMP)
  • Prior cost-center or P&L oversight

The base pay range for this role is $93,100 to $140,650 annually with additional opportunities for pay in the form of bonus and/or equity (applies to US candidates only). Pay varies by work location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
