Electrical Engineer （Display Lab）III - (E3)
Job Description
- Develop and implement electrical designs for existing and future tool systems using a data-based E-CAD System (e.g., Zuken E3S), following AMAT design standards and complying to international certification standards (SEMI S2, UL, NFPA).
- Implement state-of-the-art E-design solutions by using current industry standards wherever possible (e.g., Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT and TwinSafe).
- Specify and manage E-design projects from draft to implementation, including testing and validation of newly developed control systems and control architectures.
- Work in close cooperation with a team of physicists, designers, and system engineers worldwide.
- Connect with internal customers in USA, Europe, Asia; willingness to travel occasionally.
- Toeic test score of 700 or above.
- University degree in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study.
- Experience in design and development of power distribution and digital control electronics.
- Good understanding of automation and electro-mechanical process control mechanisms (e.g., motor/drive controls, pneumatics etc.).
- Proficiency in implementing IEC, SEMI and UL standards.

Tainan Display Manufacturing Center and Lab
Displays provide a window between people and the information universe. Humans crave information and we live in an era where digital information - entertainment, news, education, social networking, and much more – is readily available. Tainan Display Lab (TDL) lays a strategic role in employing deep display expertise to enable the next generation of displays. It is the world’s first combined display equipment manufacturing facility and R&D laboratory. The lab helps display makers transform their ideas into reality and pave the way for the next generation of displays.
TDL plays a key role in advancing improvements such as image resolution and quality, size increases, and new form factors as the display industry has evolved from CRTs to LCDs, and now to OLED. These innovations, along with reduced costs, have enabled new products and driven the proliferation of displays that create dynamic and stunning visual experiences for consumers. The facility, which occupies about 5.1 hectares includes two cleanrooms and a laboratory. It is located close to customers in the Tainan Science Park, to provide fast support to our display customers throughout Asia.
Responsbilities

- Implement state-of-the-art E-design solutions by using current industry standards wherever possible (e.g., Beckhoff PLC, TwinCAT and TwinSafe)
- Specify and manage E-design projects from draft to implementation, work with external suppliers to achieve the project goals as planned. Be involved in testing and validation of newly developed control systems and control architectures.
- Work in close cooperation with a team of physicists, designers, and system engineers worldwide.
- Connect with our internal customers in USA, Europe, Asia; willingness to travel occasionally.
Requirement
- Toeic test : 700 above
- University degree (university, university of applied sciences) in electrical engineering or a comparable field of study
- Design and development of power distribution and digital control electronics
- Good understanding of automation and electro-mechanical process control mechanisms (e.g. motor/drive controls, pneumatics etc.)
- Implementation of IEC, SEMI and UL standards
