Job Description

As an Electrical Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing products based on engineering drawings and checklists. You will perform on-site troubleshooting, analyze results, and implement corrective actions. This role includes planning and executing national and international service deployments and repairs. You will also conduct training for internal service personnel and customers, provide first-level support, remotely diagnose issues, and analyze the root causes of errors. Additional responsibilities include creating service documentation and preparing for and following up on installations according to process guidelines. You will serve as the primary on-site contact for the customer. The job requires the ability to work in both German and English and willingness to travel worldwide.
Good To Have:
  • Experience with Siemens TIA Portal and Siemens Starter.
  • Motivation for further training to become an automation technician.
Must Have:
  • Completed training as an electrician or mechatronics technician.
  • Good mechanical and/or electrical understanding of mechanical engineering systems.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
  • High degree of self-organization and independence.
  • Good English skills in both written and spoken form.

Wie werden Sie einen Unterschied machen?

  • Montage von Baugruppen und/oder Produkten nach Engineering-Zeichnungen
  • Prüfung der Produkte anhand von Prüf-/ Checklisten
  • Durchführung von Trouble Shooting Maßnahmen vor Ort und Bewertung der Resultate ggf. Einleitung von Gegenmaßnahmen. Ggf. Softwareergänzungen / -erweiterungen vor Ort in das Programm einpflegen
  • Durchführung und partielle Planung nationaler und internationaler Serviceeinsätze und Reparaturen
  • Erarbeitung und Ausführung von Trainingsmaßnahmen des eigenen Service Personals sowie spezifische Kundentrainings
  • Unterstützung des First-Level-Supports, Ferndiagnose sowie Fehlerursachenanalyse
  • Erstellung von Service Dokumentation (Einsatzbereichte, Stundenzettel etc.) und Durchführung von Montage Vor-und Nachbereitungen nach Prozessvorgabe
  • Erste/r Ansprechpartner/in vor Ort beim Kunden
  • Alle Arbeiten müssen in deutscher wie auch englischer Sprache ausgeführt werden können
  • Weltweite Reisetätigkeit

Was möchten wir über Sie wissen?

  • Abgeschlossene Ausbildung zum Elektroniker/in oder Mechatroniker/in, vorzugsweise mit Weiterbildung zum Techniker/Meister mit elektrischem Hintergrund.  
  • Gutes mechanisches und/oder elekrisches Verständnis von Maschinenbau-Systemen
  • Motivation zur Weiterbildung zum Automatisierungstechniker nach ZVEI (betriebliche Weiterbildungsmaßnahme)
  • Idealerweise erste Erfahrungen mit Siemens TIA Portal und Siemens Starter
  • Gute Microsoft Office- und ERP-Kenntnisse
  • Ein hohes Maß an Eigenorganisation und Selbstständigkeit erforderlich
  • Gute Englischkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift
  • Große Bereitschaft weltweit herausfordernde Projekte flexibel zu betreuen
  • Höhentauglichkeit ist erforderlich
  • Führerschein Klasse B
