Job Summary

Cerebras Systems is seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Technical Program Manager to oversee all aspects of manufacturing processes for their world's largest AI chip. This critical role ensures efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of products, requiring strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. The manager will drive manufacturing strategies, optimize productivity, manage risks, and lead process improvements to enhance overall efficiency.

Must Have

  • Program manage end-to-end manufacturing processes, from planning to delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (engineering, supply chain, quality assurance).
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize productivity and cost.
  • Identify and mitigate potential bottlenecks, risks, and issues.
  • Coordinate design transfer of new product programs into manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key manufacturing metrics (production volume, yield rate, lead time).
  • Collaborate with external partners (suppliers, manufacturers) for alignment and compliance.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in driving process improvements and best practices.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing program management, preferably in the computer hardware industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Significant experience working with contract manufacturers through all product life cycle phases.
  • Excellent project management skills, with ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to identify issues proactively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers as needed.

Cerebras Systems builds the world's largest AI chip, 56 times larger than GPUs. About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manufacturing Technical Program Manager to join our team. As the Manufacturing Technical Program Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our manufacturing processes, ensuring efficiency, quality, and timely delivery of our products. This is a critical role that requires strong technical expertise, excellent project management skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Program manage end-to-end manufacturing process, from planning and design to production and delivery.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (such as engineering, supply chain, and quality assurance) to ensure smooth and efficient manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies and initiatives to optimize manufacturability, productivity and cost.
  • Identify and address potential bottlenecks, risks, and issues, and develop contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Coordinate design transfer of new product programs into scaled and sustained manufacturing operations.
  • Monitor and analyze key manufacturing metrics, such as production volume, yield rate, and lead time, and take appropriate actions to improve performance.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure alignment and compliance with our quality standards and specifications.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in driving process improvements and implementing best practices to enhance overall manufacturing efficiency and effectiveness.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing program management, preferably in the computer hardware industry.
  • Strong technical background and understanding of manufacturing processes and technologies.
  • Significant experience working with contract manufacturers through all phases of the product life cycle.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address issues proactively.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to travel to manufacturing sites and suppliers as needed.
  • Demonstrated leadership abilities and the ability to motivate and inspire team members to achieve project objectives.

The base salary range for this position is $175,000 to $275,000 annually. Actual compensation may include bonus and equity, and will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, and qualifications.
