Job Description

As a Facilities Coordinator at IMC, you will be crucial in ensuring a safe, efficient, and welcoming workplace. You will support staff, contractors, and visitors, ensuring spaces run smoothly and to the highest standards. Working closely with the Facilities Manager and Workplace Operations team, you will maintain a safe, compliant, and business-ready environment. This hands-on role involves troubleshooting, minor maintenance, and coordinating external providers to support daily operations.
Must Have:
  • Act as the first point of contact for contractors, visitors, and staff.
  • Support onboarding for new starters, including access passes and workspace setups.
  • Monitor and respond to facilities requests promptly.
  • Oversee office moves, room setups, and furniture adjustments.
  • Carry out minor maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Manage vendor relationships and preventative maintenance schedules.
  • Conduct safety checks, maintain compliance, and support emergency readiness.
  • Possess strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication and people skills.
  • Have a hands-on approach with the ability to perform minor repairs.
  • Be confident in managing contractors and service providers.
  • Possess knowledge of WHS and compliance requirements.
  • Maintain a proactive, adaptable, and solutions-focused mindset.

You’ll work closely with the Facilities Manager and Workplace Operations team to keep our environment safe, compliant, and ready for business. This role is hands-on, requiring the ability to troubleshoot and complete minor maintenance tasks in addition to coordinating external providers.

Your Core Responsibilities

  • Act as the first point of contact for contractors, visitors, and staff.
  • Support onboarding for new starters, including access passes and workspace setups.
  • Monitor and respond to facilities requests promptly.
