The Financial Analyst – German Speaking will work closely with FP&A, Accounting, Legal, and territory teams. Key responsibilities include preparing participation statements for international local productions (focus on German productions), coordinating payments and postings, addressing internal/external inquiries, reviewing third-party statements, handling intercompany reporting, supporting audits, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. The role involves managing producer participation, talent reporting, subsidy reporting, and dubbing contributor reporting. Strong Excel, SAP R/3 FICO, and BW skills are essential.

Your New Role…
Working closely with the FP&A and Accounting Finance teams as well as the Local Production (LP) legal and territory teams, the key focus of this job is to prepare various kinds of participation statements for international local productions with a focus on German productions.
 

Your Role Accountabilities…

  • Set-Up and prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual statements including specific responsibilities for, but not limited to: Producer participation statements for Local Productions, Talent reporting, Subsidy reporting, Dubbing Contributor Reporting for US titles.

  • Coordinate and ensure posting and payment of German statements including required internal approvals in collaboration with P2P team.

  • Coordinate and ensure corrections for expenses posted to local production titles if the title assignment was incorrect in cooperation with accounting team.

  • Respond to internal and external partner’s questions and requirements referring to the statements prepared or costs/ revenue details included in statements.

  • Review of participation statements received from 3rd parties for local production revenues generated outside WB and coordination of processing of these statements by accounting/ P2P teams.

  • Preparation of LP-related intercompany reporting.

  • Support internal and external financial audits.

  • Ensure the compliance of financial processes with Internal Controls and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements (if applicable) 

Qualifications & Experience…

  • At least 5 years in Finance, Accounting or Controlling 

  • Fluent in English and German

  • Excellent knowledge of Excel, SAP R/3 FICO and BW

Hybrid Working - This role is advertised as a Hybrid work model, that combines remote and in-office work, following our current company policy and to be agreed with your Line Manager.
