Job Summary
Hirevue is seeking an FP&A Analyst to join its Finance team, focusing on driving business performance, managing headcount analytics, and elevating SaaS reporting. This role involves leading expense-side variance analysis, partnering with various departments for accurate financial closes, and building robust forecasts. The analyst will also own headcount actuals and forecasting, maintain critical SaaS metrics dashboards, and contribute to executive reporting. Additionally, the role supports process improvements, tool enhancements, and special projects within a fast-moving SaaS environment.
Must Have
- Lead expense-side variance analysis for assigned departments
- Partner with Accounting and departmental leaders for accurate close
- Build and enhance expense forecasts
- Own headcount actuals and forecasting for specific teams
- Partner with HR and business leaders to manage hiring plans and workforce costs
- Maintain weekly headcount reconciliation for accuracy
- Update and maintain dashboards for critical SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn)
- Provide insights influencing executive discussions and strategic decisions
- Contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting decks for C-Suite and Board of Directors
- Support enhancements to FP&A tech stack, including planning tools like Adaptive Insights
- Automate workflows and streamline reporting
- Lead and support special projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 1-3 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting
- Strong understanding of the expense side of the P&L and other financial statements
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills

- Lead expense-side variance analysis for assigned departments.

👥 Be the Owner of Headcount Analytics
- Own headcount actuals and forecasting for specific teams.

- Maintain weekly headcount reconciliation to ensure absolute accuracy.
📈 Elevate SaaS Reporting & Visibility
- Update and maintain dashboards that track our most critical SaaS metrics (ARR, NRR, CAC, LTV, churn).
- Provide insights that influence executive discussions and strategic decisions.
- Contribute to monthly/quarterly reporting decks for the C-Suite and Board of Directors.
🔧 Improve Our Processes, Tools & Systems
- Support enhancements to our FP&A tech stack, including planning tools like Adaptive Insights.
- Automate workflows, streamline reporting, and always look for ways to make our processes run smoother.
- Lead and support special projects, ensuring high-quality execution from start to finish.
Qualifications

✔ Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA a plus).
- 1–3 years of progressive experience in FP&A or Accounting (SaaS experience strongly preferred).
- Strong understanding of the expense side of the P&L and other financial statements.
- Advanced Excel and modeling skills; comfortable building and improving multi-tab, driver-based models.
- Experience with Adaptive Insights or similar FP&A tools is a plus.
