Job Description

This role involves deploying servo-controlled screwdrivers in a cleanroom workshop for aeronautical sub-assembly. The candidate will also develop Karakuri Kaizen solutions for safety in handling operations, aiming to widely implement this methodology. Your daily life

At the heart of Saint Quentin en Yvelines, the Elancourt site is one of Thales' most important technological centers of excellence. The diversity and technicality of the systems and equipment mobilize expertise in more than 80 professions in defense, high-tech security, and digital services solutions.

As part of the deployment of Industry 4.0 projects, the candidate will be responsible for deploying servo-controlled screwdriver stations for assembling aeronautical sub-assemblies in a cleanroom workshop.

In parallel, you will aim to develop Karakuri Kaizen solutions for safety issues during handling operations. This objective is part of a desire to widely deploy the methodology within the company.

The activity will be carried out under the authority of the Industry 4.0 project manager for the connected screwdrivers projects and under the responsibility of the Head of Transverse Methods Service for the design and implementation of Karakuri Kaizen solutions.

  • Be responsible for the deployment of servo-controlled screwdrivers in the cleanroom workshop,
  • Understand the assembly logic of sub-assemblies and be able to transcribe it into the programming of the screwdrivers,
  • Master IT tools (PALMA) to update manufacturing documents as the screwdriver project progresses,
  • Master Karakuri Kaizen tools and be able to implement them for handling issues in the workshop.
