Freelance Polish into English Game Localization Translator

TransPerfect Games is seeking freelance Polish into English gaming translators and proofreaders for localization projects, ranging from indie to AAA titles. Candidates need native-level English, strong Polish, a passion for gaming, and at least 2 years of gaming localization experience. Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games, along with CAT tool proficiency (memoQ preferred), is essential. Applicants must be detail-oriented, possess excellent language skills, and be able to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Must Have

• Native-level proficiency in English (USA)
• Strong command of Polish
• Deep passion for gaming and familiarity with gaming terminology
• Minimum 2 years of experience in gaming localization (Polish>English (USA))
• Expertise in Adventure, Strategy, and Fantasy games
• Skilled in CAT tools (preferably in memoQ)
• Detail-oriented with excellent grammar, spelling, and terminology skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and work in a fast-paced, creative environment
• Meet one of the minimum requirements: Degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies; OR 2+ years of translation experience + a college degree; OR 5+ years of translation experience; OR a translation certification.
