Job Description:
- Own the coding/design of a sub-module
- Review the requirements and provide simple, workable solutions
- Design and document the sub-module working with the tech-lead
- Implement the critical parts of the module
- Ensure coding standards, proper design patterns, writing test cases.
- Mentor the junior programmers
- Peer and junior programmer's code review
- Work independently and proactively to deliver production-ready code with minimal guidance
Skillset Requirements:
- Strong experience in developing backend systems JavaScript (Node.js) or Java, along with frameworks like Express.js, and Spring Boot, and databases like MySQL or MongoDB.
- Prior experience [minimum 6+ years] in stack Angular JS CSS, Java Script, HTML5, Boot Strap or React /Vue.JS/Next.Js and overall experience of 6-10 years in software development.
- Ability to work in a team structure and deliver projects on time.
- Very strong analytical and problem-solving skills in super changing environment
- Understanding of algorithms and data structures.
- Should have knowledge on any of the Cloud Technologies [AWS/Azure/GCP].
- Strong troubleshooting techniques and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to understand business and technical requirements
- Ability to document the requirements inform of word document and/or UML diagrams
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
PREFERRED Qualifications
- Experience with Designer Specialty Retail and Food & Drug POS solutions (payments, eWIC, loyalty, promotions, etc.)
- Experience with POS and Self-Checkout Integrations.
- Experience with Cloud development.
- Good to know the Japanese Language
