Gameplay QA Analyst

Job Summary
Techland is seeking a Gameplay QA Analyst to perform functional tests on their games, including new GaaS content. The role involves creating test cases, finding and reporting defects, prioritizing bugs, and cooperating closely with QA and development teams. The analyst will also provide feedback on game fragments and process player bug reports. This position requires a minimum of two years of experience in video game testing and strong analytical skills.
Must Have
- Working on functional tests of games, including new GaaS content
- Creating test cases
- Finding defects and reporting them in a consistent and measurable form
- Prioritizing bugs depending on the project phase
- Signaling design risks to the QA Lead and QA producer
- Close co-operation with the whole QA team in terms of covering key game areas with tests and taking care of the QA work methodology
- Close co-operation with development team and participation in meetings
- Providing feedback about chosen game fragments
- Processing bug reports sent by players to our support system
- A minimum of two years of experience in testing video games
- Ability to analyze and process data
- Thoroughness, proactivity and focus on completing all objectives
- Ability to work from Wrocław or Warsaw office (onsite)
- Excellent communication skills
- Very good knowledge of the gaming industry (and actively playing games)
- Good command of English
Good to Have
- Experience in using game engines (Unity, Unreal etc.)
- Released a game while working in a similar position
- Being interested in game design / knowing game design principles
- Experience in modding games / modifying game scripts
- Basic technical knowledge allowing to read log files, assertion and crash callstacks
- Basic knowledge of C++ / simple debugging skills in Visual Studio
