Job Summary
Techland, a major Polish video game company with over 30 years of experience, is seeking a Gameplay QA Analyst for their Wrocław or Warsaw studio. The role involves functional testing of games, creating test cases, reporting and prioritizing defects, and collaborating with QA and development teams. Candidates need a minimum of two years of video game testing experience, strong analytical and communication skills, and a deep knowledge of the gaming industry. Must Have
- Functional testing of games, including GaaS content.
- Creating test cases.
- Finding and reporting defects consistently.
- Prioritizing bugs based on project phase.
- Signaling design risks to QA Lead/producer.
- Collaborating with QA team on test coverage and methodology.
- Cooperating with development team and attending meetings.
- Providing feedback on game fragments.
- Processing player bug reports.
- Minimum two years experience in video game testing.
- Ability to analyze and process data.
- Thoroughness, proactivity, and focus on objectives.
- Ability to work onsite in Wrocław or Warsaw.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of the gaming industry.
- Good command of English.
Good to Have
- Experience in using game engines (Unity, Unreal etc.).
- Released a game while working in a similar position.
- Being interested in game design / knowing game design principles.
- Experience in modding games / modifying game scripts.
- Basic technical knowledge allowing to read log files, assertion and crash callstacks.
- Basic knowledge of C++ / simple debugging skills in Visual Studio.

Job Description
- Working on functional tests of our games, including new GaaS content.
- Creating test cases.
- Finding defects and reporting them in a consistent and measurable form.
- Prioritizing bugs depending on the project phase.
- Signaling design risks to the QA Lead and QA producer.
- Close co–operation with the whole QA team in terms of covering key game areas with tests and taking care of the QA work methodology.
- Close co-operation with development team and participation in a meetings
- Providing feedback about chosen game fragments.
- Proceeding bug reports sent by players to our support system.
Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of experience in testing video games.
- Ability to analyze and process data.
- Thoroughness, proactivity and focus on completing all objectives.
- Ability to work from Wrocław or Warsaw office (onsite).
- Excellent communication skills.
- Very good knowledge of the gaming industry (and actively playing games).
- Good command of English.
