Job Summary

Onward Search is seeking a Graphic Designer for a 3-6 month hybrid contract in Cleveland, Ohio. This role supports a Creative/Graphic Design Team for government clients, focusing on proposals, marketing materials, presentations, and business development graphics. The designer will provide consultations, create storyboards, and participate in ideation sessions, working 40 hours per week.

Must Have

  • Provide design consultations, concepts, and comprehensive designs aligned with creative briefs.
  • Create storyboards and layouts to effectively communicate design ideas.
  • Participate in creative ideation sessions and design sprints.
  • Develop proposals, marketing materials, presentations, and business development graphics for the government sector.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or related discipline.
  • Digital portfolio demonstrating conceptual thinking and design skills.
  • 3+ years of experience creating proposals, presentations, digital media, print design, and campaigns.
  • Experience in a fast-paced agency or in-house team environment.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, PowerPoint, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat).
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, SharePoint), Figma, Sketch, Mural, or Miro.
  • Experience working on a PC platform.
  • Candidates must be in one of the listed locations (Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Tysons, and Washington D.C.), near an EY office.
  • Agree to a hybrid work arrangement.
  • Be in the office on the first day and as business needs require.

This is a 3–6 month contract role with one of the largest professional services networks in the world, supporting their Creative/Graphic Design Team on projects for government clients. Other acceptable locations include: Atlanta, Baltimore, Boston, Chicago, Cleveland, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Tysons, and Washington D.C. Candidates must be in one of these locations, near an EY office, and agree to a hybrid work arrangement. You will need to be in the office on the first day and as business needs require. In this role, you’ll provide design consultations and produce a variety of deliverables including proposals, marketing materials, presentations, and business development graphics for the federal, state, and local government sectors. You’ll contribute to creative ideation sessions, design sprints, and collaborate with a fast-paced, high-performing team. This is a 40-hour-per-week opportunity, with working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM ET.

Graphic Designer Responsibilities:
