Job Description
Area Overview: The Risk & Compliance area is responsible for supporting Experian Spanish LATAM's first line of defense in managing situations that affect the company's objectives and strategy as part of their daily operations, respecting the regulatory framework and organizational policies.
Purpose of the position:
The Head of Risk Management will be responsible for executing the Risk & Compliance Programs at a regional level in accordance with globally established policies and standards for the organization and will support activities aimed at strengthening the Anti-Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing Risk Self-Control and Management System.
Deliverables:
1. Preparation and execution of annual Risk & Compliance Plans.
2. Generation of supporting documents for management related to risk identification, measurement, and controls.
3. Timely management of activities related to AML/CFT regulation.
Responsibilities of the position:
1. Ensure compliance with anti-corruption regulations in each of Experian Spanish LATAM's countries.
2. Fulfill the Compliance Officer functions established in the norms that regulate SAGRILAFT.
3. Review and draft contractual clauses and documents related to Risk & Compliance and AML/CFT.
4. Manage reported conflict of interest situations.
5. Ensure compliance with internal Risk & Compliance and AML/CFT procedures and policies.
6. Review and approve the giving of gifts, hospitality, sponsorships, and donations.
7. Address inquiries and provide management guidelines to the business on matters related to Risk & Compliance and AML/CFT.
8. Design and provide training, education, and communications on Risk & Compliance and AML/CFT matters.
9. Generate global, regional, and local reports on the status of Risk & Compliance and AML/CFT Program management.
Qualifications
What are we looking for? A professional in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law, or related careers, with experience in risk and internal controls - mapping, evaluation, and monitoring of operational, regulatory, and strategic risks -; control testing, RCSA, remediation plans, and evidence collection; corporate compliance, business ethics, and knowledge of anti-corruption regulations, data protection, and anti-money laundering and terrorism financing. Education: Professional in Economics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Law, or related careers. Additionally, certifications in risk, COSO, governance, or internal audit and AML/CFT/FPADM risk management. Experience: 6 years of general work experience, with a minimum of 4 years in operational risk management, corporate compliance, business ethics, SAGRILAFT. Required technical knowledge: Office Suite proficiency, knowledge of ISO 31000, anti-corruption regulations, data protection, and SAGRILAFT and PTEE. Languages: advanced Spanish and English. Competencies: Clear communication, organization, critical thinking, autonomy to handle technical issues with various areas, proactivity, ability to work under pressure, decision-making, planning, conflict resolution, and service attitude.
