Job Description

Lead the formulation and execution of the growth and innovation strategy in Spanish LATAM, aligning business priorities with a comprehensive vision of the market, clients, technological evolution, and the competitive environment. This position will be responsible for accelerating sustainable value creation by leading M&A initiatives, designing customer experience strategies, driving innovative regional projects, and coordinating a robust strategic monitoring system through OKRs. Additionally, it will be the engine for regional initiatives that connect strategy with execution, promoting a culture of continuous innovation and leveraging synergies between countries to maximize business impact in the region.
Must have:
  • Define, update, and facilitate the execution of the 5-year regional growth strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, diversification, and new business models with sustainable impact.
  • Lead the prioritization and management of strategic regional projects.
  • Design and drive a regional innovation agenda.
  • Coordinate with local teams the execution of pilots and scaling of innovative initiatives.
  • Foster strategic alliances with startups, innovation centers, fintechs or regional partners.
  • Identify strategic acquisition or partnership targets.
  • Lead business evaluation processes, due diligence, and strategic negotiations.
  • Ensure the alignment of M&A initiatives with the long-term business vision.
  • Define the regional customer experience strategy.
  • Drive NPS, satisfaction, and loyalty programs.
  • Lead innovation in customer experience leveraging technology, automation and artificial intelligence.
  • Design and implement the regional OKR framework.
  • Coordinate quarterly monitoring of strategic progress.
  • Establish a continuous monitoring system of the economic, regulatory and competitive environment.
  • Generate strategic reports on competitors, market share and key trends.
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with the executive committee and business areas.
  • Be a benchmark in strategic leadership, transformational thinking and regional influence.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, innovation or M&A roles.
  • Demonstrated track record leading projects of transformation, innovation or regional growth.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical thinking and results-oriented.
  • High capacity for transversal leadership, executive influence and stakeholder management.
  • Regional vision, cultural sensitivity and experience in multi-country environments.

Job Purpose

Lead the formulation and execution of the growth and innovation strategy in Spanish LATAM, aligning business priorities with a comprehensive vision of the market, clients, technological evolution, and the competitive environment. This position will be responsible for accelerating sustainable value creation by leading M&A initiatives, designing customer experience strategies, driving innovative regional projects, and coordinating a robust strategic monitoring system through OKRs.

Additionally, it will be the engine for regional initiatives that connect strategy with execution, promoting a culture of continuous innovation and leveraging synergies between countries to maximize business impact in the region.

Key Responsibilities

Regional Strategy and Growth

  • Define, update, and facilitate the execution of the 5-year regional growth strategy.
  • Identify opportunities for expansion, diversification, and new business models with sustainable impact.
  • Lead the prioritization and management of strategic regional projects that drive innovation, competitive differentiation, and scalability.

Regional Innovation Projects

  • Design and drive a regional innovation agenda that responds to market trends, emerging customer needs, and technological opportunities.
  • Coordinate with local teams the execution of pilots and scaling of innovative initiatives in products, services, operational models, or channels.
  • Foster strategic alliances with startups, innovation centers, fintechs, or regional partners that enhance the value proposition.

M&A and Corporate Development

  • Identify strategic acquisition or partnership targets that strengthen the regional position.
  • Lead business evaluation processes, due diligence, and strategic negotiations.
  • Ensure the alignment of M&A initiatives with the long-term business vision.

Customer Experience

  • Define the regional customer experience strategy, with a focus on differentiation, omnichannel, and digitalization.
  • Drive NPS, satisfaction, and loyalty programs, based on data, insights, and customer voice.
  • Lead innovation in customer experience leveraging technology, automation, and artificial intelligence.

OKRs and Strategic Performance Management

  • Design and implement the regional OKR framework in collaboration with business leaders.
  • Coordinate quarterly monitoring of strategic progress, facilitating data-driven decision-making and corrective actions.

Market and Competitive Intelligence

  • Establish a continuous monitoring system of the economic, regulatory, and competitive environment.
  • Generate strategic reports on competitors, market share, and key trends.
  • Translate market insights into actionable recommendations for the executive committee and country teams.

Cross-functional Leadership

  • Collaborate closely with the executive committee and the business, product, technology, talent, innovation, finance, and marketing areas.
  • Be a benchmark in strategic leadership, transformational thinking, and regional influence.

Required Profile

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in strategy, corporate development, innovation, or M&A roles, ideally in financial services, technology, data, or consulting.
  • Demonstrated track record leading transformation, innovation, or regional growth projects.
  • Strategic mindset, analytical thinking, and results-oriented.
  • High capacity for cross-functional leadership, executive influence, and stakeholder management.
  • Regional vision, cultural sensitivity, and experience in multi-country environments.
  • Advanced English (oral and written); Portuguese will be valued.
