Job Summary

As Head of Supply Chain Management, you will lead and develop the entire Supply Chain department, ensuring seamless material and information flow from suppliers to customers. This role is crucial for actively shaping the future of industrial processes during both development and series production. Key responsibilities include managing the Sales & Operation Plan, production and procurement planning, ensuring parts availability, and monitoring KPIs like on-time delivery. You will drive continuous improvements, manage inventory, and ensure compliance, contributing significantly to the company's operational excellence.

Must Have

  • Lead and develop Supply Chain teams (Warehouse, Dispatch, Configuration Management).
  • Ensure efficient processes and coordinate performance improvement initiatives.
  • Promote continuous improvements and process optimizations through new tools (MES, SAP, Ortems) and data management (PLM/ERP).
  • Responsible for Sales & Operation Plan, production and procurement planning, including resource analysis, investment proposals, and risk minimization.
  • Ensure parts availability, capacity planning, and control of missing parts.
  • Plan and monitor relevant KPIs, including customer satisfaction and on-time delivery (OTD), and initiate corrective actions.
  • Manage inventory development and key process indicators (DIO), including planning, target/actual reconciliation, and action derivation.
  • Control the "Change Review Board" and evaluate impacts of technical changes on the Supply Chain before validation.
  • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual requirements, and actively contribute to safety and compliance programs.
  • Successfully completed Master's degree in an engineering field.
  • Recognized SCM certification (CPIM, ASCM/APICS, CSP) or comparable.
  • Several years of solid professional experience in end-to-end Supply Chain Management.
  • Profound knowledge in inventory and flow management, product and manufacturing processes, and IT systems for analysis and decision support.
  • Fluent in German and English.
  • Strong analytical skills, problem-solving competence, and structured, independent work style.
  • High communication, presentation, and teamwork skills, as well as leadership experience.

Your Mission

As the technical and disciplinary leader of the entire Supply Chain department, you are the main guarantor for smooth material and information flow management between all stakeholders in the supply chain, from suppliers and sub-suppliers to our customers. Both in the development phase and during series production, you play a significant role in actively shaping the future of our industrial processes.

This also includes the following tasks

  • Responsibility for Sales & Operation Plan as well as for production and procurement planning, including resource analyses, investment proposals, and risk minimization plans for critical resources.
  • Ensuring parts availability, capacity planning, and control of missing parts.
  • Planning and monitoring relevant KPIs, including customer satisfaction indicators and on-time delivery (OTD), as well as initiating corrective measures.
  • Leading and developing the Supply Chain teams Warehouse, Dispatch, and Configuration Management, and ensuring efficient processes and coordination of performance improvement initiatives.
  • Promoting continuous improvements and process optimizations by introducing new tools such as MES, SAP, Ortems, as well as data management in PLM/ERP.
  • Responsibility for the development of inventories and key process indicators such as DIO, including planning, reconciliation of target/actual, derivation of measures, and presentation in Cash Management Meetings.
  • Controlling the "Change Review Board" and evaluating the impact of technical changes on the Supply Chain before their validation.
  • Ensuring compliance with legal and contractual requirements and actively contributing to safety and compliance programs.
