Job Summary

Sodexo is hiring a Hospitality & Utilities Attendant for a full-time, casual, or permanent role in Canberra, ACT, on a 14:7 BIBO roster. This role involves assisting in kitchen and dining services, food handling, customer service in the tavern or retail shop, and maintaining cleanliness of outdoor and common areas. Shifts are 10-11 hours in a physically active remote environment, requiring a National Police Check and pre-employment medical.

Must Have

  • Ability to travel safely to and from work
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to 11 hours)
  • Ability to obtain a National Police Check
  • Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening

The Role

  • Assisting in the kitchen and dining room service areas - food handling and food preparation required
  • Providing customer service in the tavern or retail shop
  • Maintaining cleanliness of outdoor areas and common areas
  • Work 14 days on 7 days off
  • 10 –11-hour shifts in a physically active role

About You

  • Ability to travel safely to and from work
  • Physically fit and able to work long shifts (up to11 hours)
  • You will be required to obtain a National Police Check, should you not have one dated within the last 6 months
  • Ability to endure remote environments in extreme weather conditions
  • Must pass a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
  • Previous kitchen experience preferred but not essential
