Job Description

This HR Manager Brazil position is responsible for leading and facilitating the development of culture and core capabilities for the organization in Brazil. It ensures a productive, diverse, and engaged workforce by designing and implementing HR strategies that support the business plan and achieve sustainable growth. The role drives local talent management, development, compensation, performance management, and workplace rights, while upholding Sika’s ethical standards.

Must Have:
  • Establish and implement the HR strategy in the country.
  • Ensure proper compliance with human resources plans and policies in line with the company's global and regional strategy.
  • Ensure the company's Values and Leadership Behaviors are communicated to the entire team.
  • Be a key player in developing the culture the company has defined for all its business locations.
  • Lead the compensation area to ensure effective and timely payment of the company's obligations to its employees.
  • Promote a work environment of respect, collaboration, and compliance with company policies.
  • Interact fluently with various levels and areas of the company.
  • Ensure on-site that guidelines and action plans are implemented in practice.
  • Cooperate in developing a culture based on discipline and quality results.
  • Establish training and development plans for all company personnel. Ensure execution and periodically monitor compliance.
  • Propose new ways of doing things and create innovation spaces for all employees.
  • Work directly with Managers and supervisors to meet selection, training, and development requirements for employees.
  • Identify, retain, and develop existing talent within the company.
  • Attract and select the best available talent when external recruitment is necessary.
  • Prepare and execute the department's budget.
  • Develop a smooth and collaborative relationship with labor organizations.
  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
  • Minimum 15 years of work experience.
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience as an HR generalist in companies of more than 500 employees.
  • Experience interacting with Senior Leaders.
  • Specialist in one or more HR functions.
  • Experience in collaborative work with regional and global structures in multinational companies.
  • Expert in HR Planning & Forecasting, Talent Acquisition and Development, Organizational Development & Change, Performance & Reward Management, Employee & Labor Relations, Compliance.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong influencing ability.
  • General knowledge of business indicators, with a focus on finance.
  • Extensive knowledge of current legal regulations.
  • Portuguese (native or bilingual).
  • English (advanced).

Your expertise - Our strength

  • Bachelors degree in Psychology, Business Administration, Management, or related fields.
  • Preferably with a specialization in Business and Human Resources.
  • Languages: Portuguese (native or bilingual), English (advanced), Spanish (desirable)
  • Minimum 15 years of work experience and minimum of 10 years’ experience as an HR generalist in companies of more than 500 employees
  • Experience interacting with Senior Leaders, and being a specialist in one or more HR functions
  • Experience in collaborative work with regional and global structures in multinational companies
  • Expert in: HR Planning & Forecasting, Talent Acquisition and Development, Organizational Development & Change, Performance & Reward Management, Employee & Labor Relations, Compliance
  • Excellent communication skills combined with strong influencing ability
  • General knowledge of business indicators, with a focus on finance
  • Extensive knowledge of current legal regulations
