Job Description

The HR Manager serves as the dedicated HR Partner and central contact for assigned groups, consulting managers on the full spectrum of HR topics, including employee relations, performance, and legal compliance. They balance daily HR operations with leadership requests, independently managing complex issues like investigations and disciplinary actions. This role co-steers annual processes (e.g., promotion & increase cycles), acts as a key liaison for seamless service delivery, and initiates and steers HR projects focused on process optimization and business success.
Must Have:
  • Serve as the dedicated HR Partner and central point of contact for assigned subsidiaries or departments
  • Consult managers on the full spectrum of HR topics, including employee relations, performance and development management, and proactive compliance with labor law
  • Balance your work on daily HR Operations matters (full employee cycle) and leadership requests
  • Independently manage and resolve issues that business leads approach you with, e.g., team matters, investigations, and disciplinary actions, including preparing necessary legal documentation and consultation
  • Co-steer and execute key annual HR processes within assigned groups, such as performance review cycles and compensation planning (salary increases)
  • Act as the key liaison and driver for collaboration with Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Finance, Legal, and external/government offices to ensure seamless end-to-end HR service delivery
  • Initiate, lead, and actively contribute to HR projects focused on continuous process optimization, system implementation, and enhancing the overall employee experience

What you will do:

Who you are:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant HR experience, ideally in a dynamic environment
  • Education: Completed HR-related commercial apprenticeship or a university degree (e.g., Business Administration/HR)
  • Additional HR-relevant qualifications are a plus
  • Proven experience in full employee lifecycle management
  • Proficiency in HR systems (HRIS, e.g, Personio)
  • Strong knowledge of German labor law, employee management, and HR processes
  • Proven track record of expertise advising business leads on different levels
  • Analytical skills, a structured working style, and strong communication skills
  • English and German language skills at level B2 or above
