Job Description

SurveyMonkey is seeking an energetic and professional HR Coordinator to provide Tier 1 HR support globally. This role will manage the HR queue, ensuring SLAs are met and positively influencing employee experience. Responsibilities include answering questions on benefits, HR programs, onboarding, and offboarding, optimizing the HRIS system, overseeing employee transactions, assisting with new employee pre-hire activities, and maintaining HR and benefits record keeping, including I-9 Compliance.
Must have:
  • Provide Tier 1 level HR support to employees.
  • Monitor and maintain the HR queue within Zendesk.
  • Answer questions related to benefits, HR programs, onboarding, offboarding, and general policy & procedures.
  • Assist with the optimization of the HRIS system.
  • Oversee all employee transactions, including compensation changes, manager changes, and terminations.
  • Ensure all personnel data is accurate.
  • Assist with new employee pre-hire activities and day one onboarding preparation and execution.
  • Create and maintain HR and benefits record keeping, including personnel files, medical files, and I-9 Compliance.
  • 2+ years of HR or administrative experience in a professional working environment.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and discretion; maintain confidentiality.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team and build productive working relationships with cross-functional partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Ability to prioritize in a rapidly changing environment.
  • Ability to take direction and feedback constructively.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

What we’re looking for

We are looking for an energetic and professional HR Coordinator to help support our employees, managers, and HR Business Partner team globally on a variety of HR tasks. This role will act in a lead capacity over the HR queue to ensure our SLAs are maintained and we continue to influence the employee experience in a positive way. As a key member of the People Team, you will work with our recruiting, compensation, and talent development teams to create a great candidate and employee experience.

What you’ll be working on

  • Provides Tier 1 level HR support to employees: Responsible for monitoring and maintaining the HR queue within Zendesk by answering questions related to benefits, HR programs, onboarding, offboarding, and general policy & procedures according to company guidelines
  • Assist with the optimization of the HRIS system and oversee all employee transactions, including compensation changes, manager changes, terminations, and ensure all other personnel data is accurate
  • Assist with new employee pre-hire activities: day one onboarding preparation and execution
  • Create and maintain HR and benefits record keeping, including personnel files, medical files, and I-9 Compliance
