Job Summary
CyberArk is seeking a law student or technical student interested in IP law for an Intellectual Property & Technology Intern role. This hybrid position offers hands-on experience at the intersection of cybersecurity and intellectual property. The intern will collaborate with engineers, product managers, and legal professionals to identify patentable inventions, assess IP risks, and support compliance with open-source licensing. Key responsibilities include conducting patent research, drafting patent documentation, and participating in strategy meetings to provide legal and technical insights within a global cybersecurity leader.
Must Have
- Law student (18+ months to graduation) or technical student with IP law interest.
- Strong analytical and research skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Conduct patent research and competitive analysis in cybersecurity.
- Review invention disclosures and assist in drafting patent-related documentation.
- Support IP due diligence and risk assessments for open-source and third-party software.
- Participate in strategy meetings and provide legal and technical insights.
- Maintain and organize IP records and databases.
Good to Have
- Previous experience in cybersecurity.
- Familiarity with patent processes.
