Job Summary

Growe is seeking an International Employment Lawyer to structure international recruitment, relocation, and staff adjustment across Growe's operational countries. The role involves developing and updating standard contract templates, drafting HR policies, and enhancing legal and HR processes. Responsibilities include supporting onboarding, managing ad-hoc HR issues, handling C-suite cases, and overseeing non-disclosure agreements and intellectual property transfers. The lawyer will also research payroll taxation, guide on immigration matters, and manage employment terminations.

Must Have

  • Structure international recruitment, relocation, and staff adjustment in Growe operation countries
  • Develop and update standard contract templates, draft and implement internal HR policies and procedures
  • Enhance legal and HR-related processes in cooperation with the HR department
  • Engage in negotiations and formalizations of HR matters, including onboarding support and C-suite case management
  • Responsible for non-disclosure agreements, services agreements, intellectual property transfers, and restrictive covenants advice
  • Research payroll taxation, guide on immigration matters and visa acquisitions, organize remote working enforcement, secure IP/Works for Hire transfers
  • Manage contractual / employment relations terminations, both contentious and non-contentious, including negotiating settlements
  • Revise and develop compensation and benefits schemes from a legal standpoint

Job Description

  • Develop and update standard contract templates, as well as to draft and implement the internal HR policies and procedures;
  • Enhance legal and HR-related processes in close cooperation with the HR department;
  • Be engaged in a broad spectrum of negotiations and formalizations of HR matters, which includes supporting the onboarding processes, addressing ad-hoc HR issues, managing specific cases for C-suite and senior team members;
  • Be responsible for non-disclosure agreements, services agreements, intellectual property transfers, and providing advice on the enforcement of restrictive covenants;
  • Research payroll taxation, guide the HR team in immigration matters and visa acquisitions, organize remote working enforcement, secure IP/Works for Hire transfers, etc;
  • Manage contractual / employment relations terminations, both contentious and non-contentious, including negotiating settlements;
  • Revise and develop compensation and benefits schemes from a legal standpoint.

We need your professional experience:

  • 5+ years of experience as an Employment Lawyer, preferably with experience in an international law firm, Big4 or as an in-house at iGaming company;
  • A deep understanding of the core principles of immigration law, employment law, contractual law, and tax law in the multi-jurisdictional context is a great plus;
  • Expertise in providing employment tax and immigration advice in Poland is highly advantageous;
  • Experience working with international companies or in a foreign legal environment;
  • Fluent command of the English language, both written and oral, with knowledge and understanding of legal English.
