Your Team

The Global Lab Operations department provides software and hardware solutions for the world-wide product debug quality centers. We are currently looking for a student for a 6-month internship to develop and implement a graph database, which will be used to store previous product debug findings semantically to enable knowledge retrieval.

Your Responsibilities

• Class level ontology implementation for product debug

• Graph database boot up

• Population of the database with suitable instances

• Design of adequate SPARQL queries for knowledge extraction

• Interlink the database with other knowledge databases

Your Profile

• Master of Science - last year of engineering school, software development domain

• Knowledge of physics, chemistry, material science is a plus

• Coding skills in Python

• Experience in ontologies and databases is a plus

• Versioning/data-management tools

• Bug-tracking tools

• Good level of English is required (attendance to meetings / presentations with international team, reading and writing of documentation)

Duration 

This is a full-time internship (40 hours per week) with a duration of 6 months or longer. The assignment could also be suitable as a thesis/graduation project.

Please note that in order to be considered for an internship/working student assignment, you need to be registered as a student during the entire period.
