Job Description

Join the Thales Group's Responsible Purchasing team on the Vélizy campus, specifically within the Due Diligence program. You will be involved in evaluating and supporting suppliers on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) aspects. Your missions include participating in ESG evaluations, managing the Due Diligence program, contributing to the definition and monitoring of supplier action plans, engaging with buyers, ESG experts, and suppliers, promoting the program internally and externally, and ensuring the application of ESG criteria in tenders.
Must Have:
  • Currently pursuing a Bac+5 degree in environmental and social law
  • Seeking a 6-month internship
  • Participate in ESG evaluations of suppliers and manage the Due Diligence program
  • Contribute to defining and monitoring supplier action plans
  • Promote the Due Diligence program internally and externally
  • Monitor the application of ESG criteria in tenders

Within the Thales Group's Responsible Purchasing team on the Vélizy site, you will join the Due Diligence program team, in relation with all the Group's Purchasing entities, to successfully evaluate and support suppliers on ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) aspects.

You will work within the Thales Group's Purchasing Due Diligence program team (identification, invitation, and monitoring of ESG risk suppliers). Your main missions will be:

  • Participation in ESG evaluations of suppliers and management of the Due Diligence program
  • Contribution to the definition and monitoring of supplier action plans (evaluation report, on-site ESG audit, training, etc.)
  • Participation in exchanges with Buyers, Purchasing Managers, ESG experts, and suppliers
  • Promotion of the Due Diligence program internally: communication, webinar, training, and externally: exchanges with peers, associations, sectoral initiatives, and supplier meetings
  • Monitoring the application of ESG criteria in calls for tenders

Your profile:

Are you currently pursuing a Bac+5 degree in environmental and social law and looking for a 6-month internship?

Do you know the challenges of CSR, particularly human rights, occupational health and safety, and environmental protection?

Are you proficient in office tools: Excel for analyzing and synthesizing data, PowerPoint for preparing presentation materials?

Are you proficient in English?

Are you proficient in international standards, regulations, and good CSR/ESG practices?

Are you recognized for your interpersonal skills and your ability to convince?

Do you have good analytical and synthesis skills on complex subjects?

Do you have good autonomy and rigor in conducting work?
