Job Description

As a Series Product Manager within the Inertia and Actuators APRU, you will ensure the quality and performance of a product family in series production. You will coordinate with production and support teams (Design Authority, Technologists, Quality, Engineering) and collaborate with the Production Manager. Your missions include piloting product quality, proposing and managing improvement actions, coordinating investigations in case of issues, and supporting evolutions impacting product performance. This role requires confirmed experience in industrial production/repair, mastery of continuous improvement tools, and strong English skills.

Within the Inertia and Actuators APRU, you will hold a position as Series Product Manager for a product family. The APRU's activity consists of producing and repairing accelerometers and gyrometers, inertial units, and actuators for civil and military aviation clients. The main technologies implemented on the products are: brazing, bonding, electronics, mechanics. Most assemblies are carried out under a binocular microscope.

The APRU, consisting of fifty people in production, support, and management, is experiencing strong growth across its entire product scope. Significant transformation challenges are linked to this growth.

As a pillar of the APRU, you are responsible for the quality and product performance in series life for a product family. You rely on the production and support teams (Design Authority, Technologists, Quality, Engineering) and work in collaboration with the Production Manager.

The missions are as follows:

  • Pilot the quality level of products within your scope.
  • Propose and manage improvement actions for robustness.
  • In case of a problem, coordinate the various stakeholders to secure the client and conduct investigations.
  • Support evolutions that may impact product performance vis-à-vis the client. These evolutions can be of several natures (suppliers, means, product, environment, digital).
  • Ensure traceability and documentary compliance (definition file).

Your profile

Coming from an engineering background or equivalent in the industrial field, do you have the following experience:

  • Confirmed experience in production and/or repair industry in technical reference (electronics, mechanics, optics) or support functions?
  • Mastery of continuous improvement tools?
  • Solid English skills?
