Job Description

Joining Thales in Meudon, you will integrate the standardization team as an intern Developer/Engineer. You will play a key role in a project aimed at advancing our understanding of Digital Identity through systematic research and data processing activities. Your missions include researching, analyzing, mapping, and categorizing patents related to Digital Identity, extracting and processing research questions, creating a relational model for patents, conducting a systematic review of theoretical advancements, preparing and organizing data, and collaborating with team members.
Good To Have:
  • Interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP).
  • Good understanding of database management.
Must Have:
  • Research, analyze, map, and categorize Digital Identity patents according to a predefined taxonomy.
  • Extract and process questions related to Digital Identity research.
  • Create a relational model to map connections between Digital Identity patents in a database.
  • Perform a systematic review of theoretical advancements in Digital Identity through patent analysis.
  • Prepare, process, and organize data to support research objectives.
  • Collaborate with team members to integrate results and develop comprehensive analyses.
  • Be in the final year of an engineering school with a specialization in computer science or software engineering.
  • Have very good knowledge in computer science and/or software engineering.
  • Be proficient in Python language.
  • Master English.
  • Be able to conduct bibliographic research to collect relevant data.
  • Be able to process and organize a large volume of data.
  • Possess innovative problem-solving skills.

By joining us in Meudon, you will join the Thales Group headquarters located on the banks of the Seine and organized as a true campus, bringing together our digital identity and security activities.

Your profile:

You are in your final year of engineering school with a specialization in computer science or software engineering and are looking for a 6-month internship?

You have very good knowledge in computer science and/or software engineering as well as in Python language?

You master English and wish to learn more about the field of digital identity by contributing to a pioneering research project in this area?

You ideally have an interest in Natural Language Processing (NLP) and a good understanding of database management?

You are able to perform bibliographic research to collect relevant data? You know how to process and organize a large volume of data and have innovative problem-solving skills?
