Job Description

This 6-month internship in Laval, France, is within Thales's Industrial Competence Center. The intern will join a multidisciplinary team responsible for developing production means, manufacturing files, tooling, and support for Laval equipment. The role involves participating in the qualification of bonding processes, analyzing and specifying control/monitoring systems for production processes, deploying IT solutions for data collection and archiving, and creating training support.

  • Written/oral English, allowing exploitation of technical documents and participation in technical meetings with a supplier
  • Knowledge of electronic boards
  • Currently pursuing a BAC+4/BAC+5 engineering degree (generalist with industrial specialization or equivalent)

Your daily life

Within the Pays de la Loire region, our site specializes in the integration of identification equipment integrated on aeronautical platforms and naval communication systems. The site's activity, mainly industrial, covers the entire product life cycle, from the design phase to customer support.

6-month internship located in Laval (56)

Within the Industrial Competence Center of the Laval site, as a process engineering student, you will join a multidisciplinary team of about ten people responsible for developing the means, manufacturing files, tooling, and support for the production of Laval equipment.

You will work in conjunction with the Head of the Methods Department within product industrialization.

You will participate in the qualification of bonding processes, and as such, your missions will be:

  • Analyze, specify the control/monitoring system for production processes (traceability of manufacturing parameters)
  • Deploy in production the IT solution that will collect and archive production process parameters
  • Create training support

Your profile:

You are in BAC+4/BAC+5 and are pursuing a general engineering degree with an industrial specialization or equivalent and have:

  • Proficiency in computer tools
  • Creation and management of planning and action plans
  • Written/oral English, allowing you to use technical documents and participate in technical meetings with a supplier
  • Knowledge of electronic boards
