Job Summary

Nasdaq Corporate Platforms is seeking an Investor Relations Business Development Sales professional for an onsite role in Beijing. This role focuses on generating new business and expanding existing client relationships within the investor relations offering. The successful candidate will implement strategic value propositions, drive business development through various sales activities, and meet revenue objectives by closing deals. The position requires analyzing sales initiatives and understanding client needs to align with Nasdaq's product strategies.

Must Have

  • Implement strategic Nasdaq value proposition related to Investor Relations product offering.
  • Achieve revenue objectives through growth of new clients and retention/growth of existing accounts.
  • Drive business development and relationship building through cold calling, engaging prospects, researching markets, leading product demonstrations, and sharing industry trends.
  • Analyze development of sales, retention, and marketing initiatives that support a specific region.
  • Close deals to meet individual/team quotas and company business objectives.
  • Conduct regular status and strategy meetings with customers’ senior management.
  • Develop a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments, and markets.
  • At least 3 years of proven and consistent success developing new business and driving sales in Finance Sector.
  • Proven ability to independently develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies.
  • Proven ability to prospect for new clients.
  • Proficient in creating sales presentations, messages, position statements, and other sales collateral.
  • Strong background in building and maintaining strategic relationships with senior management.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Time management skills and the aptitude to work autonomously as a self-starter and independent thinker.
  • Strong questioning, probing, and storytelling abilities.
  • Ability to handle objections and negotiate effectively.
  • Collaborative mindset for cross-selling and team engagement.
  • Resilience and adaptability in fast-paced environments.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Salesforce and web meeting tools.

We are seeking an Investor Relations Business Development Sales who will report to the Sales Head for North Asia. This is a fully onsite role in our office that will be focused on helping develop opportunities and close sales in order to meet individual/team quotas and business objectives. You will generate business with new clients as well as additional business with existing clients focusing on our growing investor relations offering.

What You Will Do

  • Implementing the strategic value proposition related to the Investor Relations product offering and achieve revenue objectives through growth of new clients and retention and growth of existing accounts
  • Driving business development and relationship building through cold calling, engaging prospects, researching markets, leading product demonstrations, and sharing industry trends
  • Analyzing development of sales, retention, and marketing initiatives that support a specific region – ultimately driving revenue and generating business with new clients as well with existing clients
  • Closing deals in order to meet individual/team quotas and business objectives
  • Conducting regular status and strategy meetings with the customers’ senior management to understand their needs and to link them to the organization’s product/service strategies
  • Developing a good understanding of industries, regulatory environments and markets

What We Expect

  • At least 3 years of proven and consistent success developing new business and driving sales in Finance Sector
  • Proven ability to independently develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies from concept to execution
  • Proven ability to prospect for new clients
  • Proficient in creating sales presentations, messages, position statements, and other sales collateral that speaks to the client’s needs, concerns, and objectives
  • Strong background in building and in maintaining strategic relationships with senior management
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills along with strong interpersonal skills
