Nasdaq is seeking a Sales Specialist for its Trade Surveillance solutions. This role involves managing the entire enterprise software sales process, from prospecting to closing, for new and existing clients in financial markets. The specialist will develop strategic territory plans, deliver C-level presentations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful deal execution and client satisfaction. The position requires strong hunting abilities and domain knowledge in Banking Regulatory Reporting or Surveillance and Compliance.

Must Have

  • Manage the entire enterprise software sales process from prospecting to closing.
  • Create and manage a strategic territory plan for quota attainment and pipeline building.
  • Take ownership of communication and internal coordination of Nasdaq’s sales support infrastructure.
  • Be responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of quality solution-focused, client presentations at “C” level.
  • Establish a robust account strategy for complex solutions within a sales team environment.
  • Accelerate the sale process by generating leads, qualifying needs, and quarterbacking proposal development.
  • Become an integral, collaborative team player with all functional peers.
  • Degree-educated.
  • 6-7 years of experience.
  • Solid enterprise software-as-a-service sales experience with long sales cycles in the Capital Markets.
  • Proven record for selling complex solutions and services at the “Business Head” and "C" level.
  • Exceptional ability to motivate and influence multiple key contacts and decision-makers.
  • Consistent, year-on-year, high-performance track record in identifying and closing deals.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel for business.

What We Offer

The sales organization, composed of the sales executive and business development teams, is in charge of selling the Nasdaq Fintech solutions (software and services) to existing clients and prospects. The team is focused on selling solutions that are aligned with Nasdaq’s go-to-market strategies and works closely with all the other departments: pre-sales, strategy, product, marketing, customer delivery, finance, and legal, to ensure successful execution of the sales process.

We are seeking a Sales Specialist who is experienced in software sales within financial markets, enterprise software, and/or FinTech solutions. You will be directly responsible for working with viable new prospects and expanding existing accounts. This is a good opportunity for an experienced software salesperson with hunting abilities and a strong domain knowledge in Banking Regulatory Reporting or Surveillance and Compliance.

What You Will Do

  • Manage the entire enterprise software sales process from prospecting to closing, typically over long and complex sales cycles
  • Create and manage a strategic territory plan that includes activities for quota attainment and building out a qualified pipeline of deals
  • Take ownership of the communication and internal coordination of Nasdaq’s sales support infrastructure (sales support, operations, and executive team) to ensure customer education and satisfaction
  • Be responsible for the development, execution, and delivery of quality solution-focused, client presentations at “C” level
  • Establish a robust account strategy for complex solutions within a sales team environment whilst working to develop a continuous pipeline of new accounts
  • Accelerate the sale process:
  • Generate leads
  • Qualify the need and scope of requirements
  • "Quarterbacking" the proposal development and successfully installing the service offerings
  • Become an integral, collaborative team player with all functional peers (Presales, Product, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Professional Services, Finance) to close business and ensure a smooth transition from prospect status to client status

What We Expect
