Sopra Steria is seeking an IT Project Manager for Public Services in Aix-en-Provence. The role involves securing ongoing operations, transforming TMA models, and contributing to new commercial positions. Job Description
Our dynamic requires us to strengthen our team to contribute to our growth project and strategic positioning:
- Secure our ongoing operations: ensure quality delivery for our current commitments on TMA (Third-Party Application Maintenance) and on the delivery of structuring builds.
- Transform TMA models to strengthen our strategic positioning with our clients, notably the role of technical advisor to CIOs or the implementation of outsourced teams, for example.
- Contribute to winning new commercial positions: intervene in our pre-sales as a manager and/or contributor and thus strengthen the Agency's growth project.
As such, you will be involved in five main areas of expertise:
1. Operational management of the Agency's commitments
- You estimate charges, plan, and monitor production.
- You proactively manage risks, difficulties, and changes while controlling costs.
- You guarantee the achievement of operational results.
- You ensure committee meetings for your scope (project committee and steering committee).
- You are responsible for the economic stakes of the project (creation and monitoring of the budgetary and financial trajectory, monthly financial reporting).
2. Commercial management of the scope
- You guarantee a trusting client relationship and ensure high-level client relations.
- You carry out commercial monitoring and prospecting within your scope.
3. Team supervision
- You monitor and evaluate employee performance (definition of mission objectives, mission reviews, participation in HR committees).
- You convey the group's messages and values as an operational manager, animate the collective within project teams.
- You participate in qualifying potential employees during the recruitment process.
- You support and train employees by ensuring their acquisition of skills and autonomy (deputy project managers, development teams, architects, functional analysts).
4. Leading the transformation
- You have the ability to define key transformation axes based on the client context and an implementation roadmap.
- You master change management techniques and collective decision-making.
- You ensure the animation and monitoring of this transformation strategy.
5. Participation in pre-sales
- You build client relationships and understand their major stakes.
- You work closely with the commercial team.
- You estimate and monitor the charges for this pre-sales phase.
- You pilot the production of the proposal, challenge the produced elements, guarantee the quality of the work, notably on costing, identification of SSG assets, and project risks.
- You contribute to the implementation of the quality process.
Qualifications
You rely on your technical and functional skills to implement your management and drive transformation with your clients, supported by your teams.
You master Agile methodologies and are fluent in English (collaborations with India within the scope). Good knowledge of the Aix en Provence market is a plus.
You are recognized for your excellent interpersonal skills and your appetite for team collaboration. Your experience also demonstrates your ability to arbitrate, make decisions, and convince.
You have a very good analytical and rigorous mind.
Graduated from an Engineering school or a Master 2 in IT or equivalent training, you have at least 5 years of experience in a service company in a similar position.
You have notably already managed fixed-price projects and know how to manage risks and commitments.
