Job Description

The IT System Administrator will be responsible for installing and configuring software and hardware for artists, providing first-line IT support, and managing desktop and helpdesk operations. This includes troubleshooting issues, setting up and closing user accounts, and timely preparation and processing of equipment for new hires and leavers, ensuring an uninterrupted working experience for the team.
Must Have:
  • Install and configure software and hardware for artists.
  • Provide first-line IT support and respond to tickets.
  • Manage desktop and helpdesk support for applications and workstations.
  • Troubleshoot IT issues quickly and effectively.
  • Set up and close accounts for new starters and leavers.
  • Prep kit for new starters and manage equipment loans/returns.
  • Associate/Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of IT Support, network, or system administration experience.
  • Proficient with Windows 10, Office 365, MS Office, and ticketing systems.
  • Knowledge of system security, data backup, and recovery.
  • Experience with PC, OS, and software troubleshooting.
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux Server environments.
  • Ability to manage Office 365, Mimecast, phishing protection, and Sophos Anti-Virus.

Description

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Installation and configuration of software, hardware and any other required technology tools for artists both in the studio and for remote working
  • Providing first line support responding to IT tickets raised by artists and other members of the team.
  • Responsible for desktop and helpdesk support ensuring smooth running of all desktop applications, workstations, and related equipment. Troubleshooting issues raised, responding quickly and effectively to artists to ensure they have an uninterrupted working experience.
  • Setting up accounts for new starters and closing accounts for leavers.
  • Ensuring kit is prepped for new starters in a timely manner.
  • Complete appropriate paperwork to log and process equipment loaned out to new starters and managing the return of equipment for leavers.

Requirements

  • Associate/Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ year of IT Support, network administration or system administration experience
  • Proficient knowledge and experience with Windows 10, 365, MS Office Shop and basic ticketing systems
  • Knowledge of system security and data backup/recovery
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, PC/OS/Software troubleshooting skills
  • Familiarity with Windows/Linux Server environments
  • Ability to use and manage Office 365, Mimecast, phishing protection, Sophos Anti-Virus, etc.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A desire to help others, outstanding attention to service and creating a positive experience
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Problem solver and a self starter
