Job Description

CSG International is seeking a Desktop Support Administrator to join their IT team. This role involves installing, configuring, and troubleshooting desktop systems, maintaining data integrity, and managing hardware/software inventory. The administrator will also provide support for printers and mobile devices, collaborate with team members to resolve technical issues, and document trouble tickets. Candidates should have an Associate's Degree equivalent experience and 1-2 years in technical support, with familiarity in Windows and Mac OS.
Good To Have:
  • Appropriate certifications such as A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA
  • Experience with Office 2010, Lync 2010, VOIP, Remedy, HP Asset Center, provisioning Tablets and Smart Phones
Must Have:
  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems
  • Maintains passwords, data integrity and file system security
  • Proactively identifies process gaps and recommends solutions
  • Hardware and Software Inventory tracking and management
  • Provides provisioning and support for printer and mobile devices
  • Work as a team member to collaboratively resolve client requests and technical issues
  • Document all trouble tickets with clear, concise explanations
  • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control
  • Determine the scope of the trouble ticket and the responsible department
  • Associates Degree Equivalent Experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in providing customer service in a technical support role
  • Ability to learn and use professional concepts
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Familiar with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac OS

We are looking for an Administrator who will:

  • Installs, configures and troubleshoots desktop systems

  • Hardware and Software Inventory tracking and management
  • Provides provisioning and support for printer and mobile devices
  • Work as a team member to collaboratively resolve client requests and technical issues with other team members, partners and vendors
  • Document all trouble tickets with clear, concise explanations in a timely and accurate manner ensuring adherence to department policies and procedures
  • Escalate to supervisor any situation outside the employee's control that could adversely impact the services being provided
  • Determine the scope of the trouble ticket and the responsible department

  • Associates Degree Equivalent Experience required
  • 1-2 years’ experience in providing customer service in a technical support role
  • Appropriate certifications such as A+, MCSA, MCSE, MCP, CCNA are not required, but are highly desirable
  • Ideal skills include: Ability to learn and use professional concepts
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical users
  • Ability to stand/walk up to 20% of day. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and tight deadlines
  • Familiar with Windows 7, Windows 8 and Mac OS
  • Experience with Office 2010, Lync 2010, VOIP, Remedy, HP Asset Center, provisioning Tablets and Smart Phones beneficial
