Junior Network Management Controller Internship

Within the Lapeyre Management Control team, the intern will be involved in monitoring network pole activities. Key responsibilities include analyzing and disseminating weekly and monthly performance indicators (revenue, activity by sector and store type), optimizing costs and profitability by tracking store operating costs, participating in monthly closings (calculating provisions, updating occupancy costs), preparing financial reports for steering meetings, and conducting ad-hoc analyses for Network and/or Financial Management. The role also involves monitoring project deployment and preparing communication materials for personnel representative bodies and regional performance reviews.

Must Have

Job Description

Within the Lapeyre Management Control team, the intern will be involved in monitoring network pole activities with the following missions:

Performance analysis and monitoring

• Analysis and dissemination of weekly and monthly performance indicators on revenue, activity by sector and store type.

• Participation in the evolution of reporting to improve performance steering by region and store, according to KPIs related to commercial performance (Margin, Conversion Rate, B2B revenue and associated services).

Cost optimization and profitability: Monitoring and analysis of store operating costs (detailed expense analysis, comparison between stores).

• Participate in monthly closings: Calculation of provisions concerning general expenses / update and analysis of occupancy costs (rent, rental charges, operating costs, etc.)
• Preparation of financial reports for steering meetings and budget forecasts.
• Ad-hoc analyses at the request of Network and/or Financial Management, various studies in a cost reduction process.

Project deployment monitoring

• Monitoring the deployment of various cross-functional projects between Network/Logistics/Purchasing/Finance aiming to optimize the economic performance of the Lapeyre group.

Preparation of communication materials

• Production of results presentations for employee representative bodies.
• Participation in the preparation of regional performance reviews.

Profile

You are from a higher education institution (Grande Ecole de Commerce or Engineering) or equivalent university degree with a finance/management control option.
