Job Summary
eBay's Managed Payments Global KYC team is seeking a KYC Business Analyst to enhance its Payments AML/KYC program. This role involves designing and leading KYC projects, drafting business requirement documents, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to implement technological solutions. The analyst will also support testing, drive automation, ensure regulatory compliance, and use data analysis to mitigate AML risks, contributing to eBay's mission of empowering buyers and sellers globally.
Must Have
- Lead development of business requirements and technical specifications for KYC projects
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to make projects a reality
- Support testing of the solutions and provide UAT support with participants
- Drive automation within operations with new technologies such as GenAI
- Be aware of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance in all deliverables
- Use data analysis to drive optimal solutions to mitigate AML risks
- Document processes and procedures for KYC and Enhanced Due Diligence operations teams in order to meet requirements
- Provide governance for KYC and EDD projects by tracking and communicating key deliverables and roadblocks
- 2+ years of KYC experience in fin-tech, start-ups, technology, or emerging financial services
- Consistent track record in developing detailed requirements and specifications
- Collaboration with product and engineering to refine requirements and design
- Deep understanding of KYC/CDD/EDD processes and AML standards
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- SQL and Data Analysis skills

eBay’s Managed Payments Global KYC team is looking for a KYC Business Analyst to help grow the Payments AML/KYC program at eBay and its subsidiaries. The perfect candidate is someone who offers a dynamic set of skills that can design and lead KYC projects. This candidate would be responsible for drafting KYC business requirement documents and working directly with product and engineering to implement technological solutions. The candidate should have the ability to influence decisions and build strong relationships across teams and collaborators, and communicate effectively to design and implement solutions.
What you will accomplish:
- Lead development of business requirements and technical specifications for KYC projects
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to make projects a reality
- Support testing of the solutions and provide UAT support with participants

The base pay range for this position is expected in the range below:
$71,600 - $123,400
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave). Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.
If hired, employees will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
